For Delphi, there are report component suites for saving reports in HTML, or even XML, Excel, RTF (Rich Text Format, readable with Word) format. There is shareware as well as freeware, even with full source code, so that you can recompile for your Delphi version.

Most of these report generators work with templates, so that you can customize the layout of the report.

A few freeware examples: FlexCel Reports, HTML Template Component, vtkExport,...
