"Opening a file" was one of the topics of our "Tip of the day" :)
In fact, you only can automatically start an *application*, an .EXE file. But there is an easy way around this. To see the tip, click here: Tip 3 (in the example code, replace 'index.html' with 'yourfile.avi').
