There are a number of known problems with later Epson printer drivers.
I found this out & it took ages to resolve.
I found that running earlier drivers often resolved the problem.
It is actually down to the driver not rounding pixel co-cordinates.
On all sites with this problem we updated their drivers to either earlier ones, or the very latest and all problems vanished.
