Thanks, the solution you propose is one I had in mind. The only problem is that my form is invisible. The popupmenu is linked to a tray icon. So I guess I have no coordinates for the popup method.

Moreover, to make it more difficult, I wanted the popup menu to remain open at the parent level.
I guess I'll have to ditch the popup menu and resort to designing a form.
