~ Message on screen during processing ....how ???!!!~

Hi Delphi guru's

A quick question, what i want to do is to display a message while my application is collating
a report, i know there is the curser becomes a timer and the percentage completion at the
bottom of the toolbar to indicate that processing is still being done...users expect once
that when the process reaches 100% its finished, but in my application it goes over 100 %,
.i have found that users tend abort during the processing and this is when my application
falls over.......is there any code that will display a message or even a better progress bar
that not allow the user to abort the process while it is still running !!!
