: I'm using Turbo Delphi 2006.
: I want to write a program for a data projector. I saw another program (something really different that I want to write) that let you choose what you want to show through the data projector. In other words what you see on the pc screen, is not what is shown through the data projector.
: An example. If I put a DVD into my laptop and use a program to view it, only the "streaming" from the DVD (the movie itself) , if you can call it that, shows through the data projector. I can then minimize the movie on the laptop and do something else on the laptop, while the movie is showing through the data projector.
: I would like to know how one does this! Is there anyone with ideas please?
Your projector is seen by Windows as a second monitor.
If your computer's video circuit has two monitor outputs, chances are that you already have such a utility (included as for example with the nVidia cards).
If you don't have such a utility: on the Internet you can find many programs to move the window of an application to the "secondary" monitor. Search Google for "multiple monitors", you'll find plenty of cheap shareware programs and even some free ones.
Or do you specifically want to program such a utility in Delphi?
