When u want to use databases on other pc's its best to use InstallShield (the one that comes with Delphi3 is ok) - let it install BDE/Aliases/Directories - you can assign the alias(s) a path - remember to put all files into right paths and everything should be great - with a bit of practise it looks like any other Installer.

U see i think u haven't set either/and or the paths and alias(s).
