Grandioze pagina. Ik heb er in een hele korte tijd de basis van delphi geleerd waardoor ik nu goed
aan de slag kan, maar ik kwam een foutje tegen. Op http://www.festra.com/sources.htm onder het kopje "Alleen
maar numerieke input in een TEdit" zie ik sources staan die niet werken. Bij het ifstatement waarbij
de DecimalSeparator en de "-" afgevraagd worden mis ik een "begin". Toen ik dat had toegevoegd, werkte
het als een trein.

Aangezien ik er thuis nogal vaak mee bezig ben kwam ik met een paar problemen te zitten. Hoe krijg
ik een programma draaiende op externe apparatuur, het gaat om een looplicht, nu zou ik dit wil uittesten

Mijn commentaar is eerder wat negatief: Alles wordt goed uitgelegd, maar hier wordt er eigenlijk
maar 1 voorbeeld gemaakt en uitgelegd. Basics van Delphi is niet alleen een Euro-rekenmachine maken,
hé. Een soort sourcecode list van de basics (zoals Exit, Free, Close enz.) zou de beginner dan ook
al wat meer op weg kunnen helpen met het programmeren.

Ben net (voor de 2e keer) begonnen in Delphi. Ik hoop dat de downloads me een beetje op weg helpen. Ik ben geschoold programmeur, maar had het de eerste keer erg moeilijk met de overstap. Wellicht lukt deze poging beter. Ik mis het creatieve aspect van het programmeren en hoop dat met Delphi weer terug te krijgen. Het is alleen wel even wat anders dan Cobol, Clipper, ASM, SQL of andere talen waarin ik geprogt heb! Ideeën te over, nu nog de middelen. Goede zaak dat jullie mensen als mij een beetje op weg willen helpen. Ga zo door!

I have already learned Visual Basic up to the extreme optimization...except of course using the default objects (bec they're too slow)...I used Windows API all the time to make my apps faster. But when I discovered Delphi it was like VB and C++ combined. The problem is, tutorials about Delphi is scarce here...maybe because companies here rely heavily on MS Applications...may you have many more Delphi tips to come.
