Do classes and interfaces go in individual files?

Trying to use interfaces and classes but I do not know how to structure the files in a delphi project. I did learn that  the interface section in a unit file is not the same as an interface that a class can extend-hah! Should each interface go in it's own file? How about classes? I have found toy programs like 'hello world' irritating and useless. I want a test project that can be expanded as I learn new things. A working example project (console only) would be a big help.
thanks,

An "object interface", or simply "interface", defines methods that are implemented by a class. Just like a class, an interface can go in its own unit, but it can also go in a unit together with other interfaces and even classes.
